The Flower Show Book of Evidence is to be min 2 - 4 pages, you can put more- max 20 pages. It is to include a written description of show and pictures that will describe the show to someone who did not attend.
Send Awards Application & Flower Show Book of Evidence to National Capital Area Garden Clubs Awards Chairman.
Description of Show – 300 words or less.
Text should include: title of show, location of show, name of club, # of members, # of members that participated (if known), # of horticultural entries (if known), theme and staging, and special features. The Description should describe theme staging, unique actual staging, and special features that made the show outstanding or unusual.
Suggestions of pictures
Overall horticulture, picture of top horticulture winners, overall design (if possible), pictures of top design winners, if show had educational exhibits, pictures of them, pictures of staging & signage to show how theme was carried out. It would be nice if pictures are labeled with Section, Class & Top Award won.
Put the Flower Show Book of Evidence in heavy paper folder with fasteners on inside. Put label on outside cover listing, your club name, city/ town show was held, National Capital Area Garden Clubs, Award Number & Name.
Attach 2 National Capital Area Garden Clubs Awards applications to inside front cover with paper clip.
