Welcome to almost spring and District III-------
March is upon us not with the promise of spring but with the reality of many blooming plants that have reacted to the warm periods we have experienced this winter. Spring is rolling out
 fast and so is District III! March has suddenly become an action packed month for us: Morning of Design March 8th, see attached flyer with a change in venue, our District meeting March 16 in the Iris Room at the Meadowlark Botanic Garden atrium at 10:00 am, and our sponsorship of the state meeting at Fairfax City Library March 29. Catch your breathe
 and enjoy the wonderful opportunities!
District III will also be providing the refreshments for these three events. So please assist Pam and Virginia when they call your club for help!
Morning of Design. This has turned out to be a very special MOD with M’Ellen Alden showing
and discussing the new design ‘Armature Form’ plus Rilla Crane ‘s 'Sculptural Form - Abstraction and Color.' Come and become intrigued with the wide open creative design and be fascinated by Rilla’s usual pristine handling of her Topic!
District Meeting---Awards Program and Native Azaleas
Meeting will begin promptly at 10:15 am with Don Hyatt’s gem of a presentation quickly following. Take advantage of the opportunity to see your club receive their awards plus other special awards and then to learn about the native azaleas you have lurking in the woods around you.
