I hope you had a great holiday season and are enjoying the snow fall!
Ann Gardenhour and David quickly put together a bus trip for the Philadelphia Flower Show.
We are hoping to keep a very large garden club happy -
Upcoming Events:
1. Legislation Day is coming up on January 18th. Please let me know if you or any in your club members have registered to attend. Here's a link to the NCAGC website for the information.

2. Award 18 is due to Sally O'Connell by Monday, January 23rd.

3. Please consider sharing your clubs' information with The Garden Post, the District 1 newsletter. The deadline is February 10th. Arleen Ankeney is our editor: aankeney1@comcast.net
4. Our District Awards meeting is on Saturday, March 3rd. The venue will be Behnke's in Beltsville. We will begin at 9:30am. Following our meeting Behnke's is holding two seminars which we are welcome to attend, one at 11am and one at noon regarding starting seeds. More information will be available in the next edition of the District 1 newsletter The Garden Post.
5. SAVE THE DATE: Presidents Coffee will be Saturday, June 16th! I am very honored that NGC President Shirley Nicolai, a District I member, has offered her beautiful home for us to use. I would hope that each club will be able to send a representative. Stay turned for more details!
